THE MISSION OF THE PENNSYLVANIA MASONIC YOUTH FOUNDATION IS TO LEAD THE MASONIC FRATERNITY IN PROVIDING SERVICES ON BEHALF OF YOUNG PEOPLE, AND TRAINING FOR ADULTS WHO WORK FOR THE BETTERMENT OF YOUTH.

EMPOWERED MORE THAN 1,500 YOUTH THROUGH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS SPONSORED BY DEMOLAY, JOBS DAUGHTERS, KNIGHTS OF PYTHAGORAS, RAINBOW, AND RUTH MITCHELL TUCKER GIRLS YOUTH DEPARTMENT; LIFESKILLS CONFERENCE; STUDENT EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS; AND COLLEGE AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS. AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING 193,850 TO STUDENTS WHO ATTEND OR WILL ATTEND HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS AND TRADE SCHOOLS. CREATED AND MADE AVAILABLE RESOURCES AND SUPPORT MATERIALS TO 800 ADULT VOLUNTEERS. PROVIDED 6,250 MEALS THROUGH THE FOOD FOR FRIENDS INITIATIVE FOR THOSE IN NEED. TRAINED 1,978 TEACHERS, COUNSELORS, ADMINISTRATORS, AND YOUTH SERVICE PROFESSIONALS AT VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE WORKSHOPS. PUBLISHED AND DISTRIBUTED NUMEROUS NEWSLETTERS, BOOKLETS, DIRECTORIES, PROGRAM FLYERS,BROCHURES, AND GUIDEBOOKS FOR VARIOUS YOUTH PROGRAMS. FUNDED THE ENTIRE COST OF COMPREHENSIVE CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS AND ADULT WORKER PROFILES FOR ALL MASONIC YOUTH ORGANIZATION ADULT VOLUNTEERS. FUNDED THE ENTIRE COST OF YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING, COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE COVERAGE, AS WELL AS ABUSE AND MOLESTATION INSURANCE COVERAGE. GRANTED 23,500 TO YOUTH-LED SERVICE PROJECTS THROUGHOUT THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA. CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN THE INTERNET SITES OF THE FOUNDATION (WWW.PMYF.ORG), RAINBOW (WWW.PARAINBOWGIRLS.ORG), AND DEMOLAY (WWW.PADEMOLAY.ORG), AND PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO JOBS DAUGHTERS (WWW.PAIOJD.ORG).
