UNITED BEACON HOUSE- PROVIDES TRANSITIONAL, SAFE HOUSING FOR HOMELESS VETERANS AS THE REINTEGRATE INTO THE SOCIETY THEY WILLINGLY PROTECTED THROUGH THEIR MILITARY SERVICE. UNITED VETERANS BEACON HOUSE MAKES A DIFFERENCE THROUGH ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, RETRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT. MORE THAN 24 BEACON HOUSES ARE NOW IN OPERATION.
MILITARY SUPPORT PACKAGES- A MILITARY SUPPORT PACKAGE AS WELL AS SQUAD PACKAGES ARE SENT TO MILITARY WHO ARE IN SERVICE OVERSEAS. THIS EFFORT IS TO ENFORCE THE SUPPORT THEM, HONOR THEIR MILITARY SERVICE ON AN ON-GOING BASIS, AND ENCOURAGE THEIR MEMBERSHIP WITH THE VETERANS OF THE VETERANS OF THE VIETNAM WAR, INC.
MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM- THE PROGRAM WORKS TO BUILD MEMBER NUMBERS AS WELL AS TO SERVE MEMBERS REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION AND MAINTAIN MEMBER RECORDS. MAINTAINS A FIND-A-VET DATABASE OF VETERANS WHO SERVED IN VIETNAM. THE POW/MIA ISSUE IS KEPT IN THE FOCUS OF THE AMERICAN PUBLIC AND WILL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL THERE IS A FULL ACCOUNTING FROM ALL WARS.
VETERAN SERVICE OFFICER PROGRAM - VETERAN SERVICE OFFICERS, ACCREDITED BY THE DEPT. OF VETERAN AFFAIRS, ARE TRAINED BY THE ORGANIZATION AND PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO VETERANS AS THEY PURSUE THEIR SUBMISSION OF CLAIMS THROUGH THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM. VETERAN LEADERS MAGAZINE- PUBLISHES QUARTERLY THE VETERAN LEADER MAGAZINE WHICH PROVIDES THE MOST CURRENT INFORMATION ON MANY AREAS OF INTEREST TO VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES AS WELL AS CURRENT UPDATES ON THE ORGANIZATIONS MANY PROGRAMS
