REMOVAL OF LITTER AND LEAVES FROM STORM DRAINS AND STREET CURBS. REMOVAL OF GRAFFITI FROM SHARED NEIGHBORHOOD SPACES THROUGHOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD.
PUBLICATION OF A COMMUNITY MAGAZINE, QUEEN VILLAGE QUARTERLY CRIER. ARTICLES AND PHOTOS ARE CONTRIBUTED BY VOLUNTEERS. EACH ISSUE INCLUDES CONTENT ABOUT ISSUES IMPACTING RESIDENTS' QUALITY OF LIFE; ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY NEIGHBORHOOD VOLUNTEERS; BOARD AND COMMITTEE WORK; QVNA'S SEASONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEIGHBORS TO ENGAGE IN CLEAN AND GREEN ACTIVITIES; STORIES ABOUT SCHOOL AND LEARNING ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS; RECAPS OF COMMUNITY MEETINGS WITH CITY AND STATE OFFICIALS; AND OTHER LOCAL INTERESTS. 3,400 COPIES OF THE MAGAZINE ARE DISTRIBUTED DOOR-TO-DOOR BY 90 COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS.

SPONSORSHIP OF AFTER- SCHOOL, EXTRACURRICULAR, AND LEARNING ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS FOR NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN. CONTRIBUTION FOR BUILDING REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE FOR OUR POLICE MINI-STATION WHICH ARE NOT FUNDED BY THE CITY.
