AUXILIARY MEMBERS DONATE THEIR TIME TO CONDUCT SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AS WELL AS THRIFT AND GIFT SHOP SALES. SEE SCHEDULE O FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
THE AUXILIARY DONATED $160,000 TO WAYNE MEMORIAL HEALTH FOUNDATION. THE DONATION WAS THEN PASSED THROUGH TO WAYNE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, INC., A NONPROFIT ENTITY, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC, TO BE USED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE HOSPITAL'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
THE AUXILIARY DONATED $25,500 TO FOUR LOCAL MATRICULATING NURSING STUDENTS. EACH STUDENT RECEIVED $6,375 TOWARDS THEIR HIGHER EDUCATION EXPENSES. THE AUXILIARY'S OBJECTIVE IS TO SUPPORT AND INCREASE THE AVAILABILITY OF NURSES IN THE LOCAL REGION.
A DONATION OF $15,314 WAS MADE TO WAYNE MEMORIAL LONG TERM CARE, INC., DBA WAYNE WOODLANDS MANOR, A NONPROFIT NURSING HOME, FOR THE BENEFIT OF ITS RESIDENT PATIENTS, TO BE USED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE ENTITY.
