ANIMAL CARE AND ADOPTION PROGRAM: WE ACCEPT AND CARE FOR HOMELESS AND UNWANTED ANIMALS. EACH YEAR, WE ACTIVELY ADOPT OUT OVER 1,000 ANIMALS. AT THE MORRIS ANIMAL REFUGE, WE OFFER PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT PET OWNERS IN OUR COMMUNITY AND KEEP ANIMALS EVERYWHERE OUT OF SHELTERS AND WITH THEIR FAMILIES! IN MORE THAN 140 YEARS OF OPERATION, THE MORRIS ANIMAL REFUGE HAS CARED FOR HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF ANIMALS AND SHAPED THE COURSE OF ANIMAL WELFARE IN THE UNITED STATES.
COMMUNITY CAT PROGRAM: HELPING REDUCE THE FERREL CAT COMMUNITIES THROUGH SPAY/NEUTERING. AS A RESULT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC THE PROGRAM TEMPORARILY CEASED OPERATIONS DURING PREVIOUS TAX YEAR, AND IS INTENDING TO START UP ACTIVITY AGAIN IN 2022.
