THE MISSION OF THE LANCASTER CEMETERY IS TO OFFER SPACE FOR BURIAL AND TO MAINTAIN THE GROUNDS AND MONUMENTS OF ONE OF PENNSYLVANIA'S OLDEST, NON- PROFIT CEMETERY COMPANIES CONSISTING OF OVER 20,000 GRAVESITES, AND UNLIMITED MEMORIAL SITES AND TO PROMOTE THE HISTORY AND MONUMENT ART OF THE SITE FOR THE EDUCATION AND ENJOYMENT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

THE LANCASTER CEMETERY CONDUCTS THE SALE OF GRAVESITES AND MEMORIAL SITES AND PROVIDES BURIAL SERVICES. IN ADDITION, THE LANCASTER CEMETERY MAINTAINS PERPETUAL CARE OF ALL HISTORICAL AND RECENTLY UTILIZED BURIAL LOTS WHILE STRIVING TO MAINTAIN A PEACEFUL, SECURE AND ATTRACTIVE SANCTUARY FOR FAMILIES AND LOVED-ONES OF THOSE BURIED THERE.
THE LANCASTER CEMETERY STRIVES TO PRESERVE THIS VICTORIAN-ERA CEMETERY AS WELL AS THE NATURAL AND ARTISTIC RELICS AND MONUMENTS ENSHRINED IN THIS, ONE OF PENNSYLVANIA'S OLDEST NON-PROFIT CEMETERY COMPANIES. IN ADDITION, WE STRIVE TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC REGARDING THE CEMETERY'S HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE.
