TO PROMOTE THE BUILDING MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY AND TO DEVELOP COOPERATION BETWEEN MEMBERS THROUGH NEWSLETTERS, WORKSHOPS, & LUNCH/DINNER MEETINGS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

EDUCATION - TWO CLASSES PER SEMESTER (FALL AND SPRING) WHICH WOULD INCLUDE ONE RPA CLASS AND ONE SMA CLASS. ON AVERAGE THERE ARE 12 PEOPLE PER CLASS FOR A TOTAL OF 24 PEOPLE PER SEMESTER.


LUNCHON/DINNERS - ORGANIZE REGULAR LUNCHEON/DINNER MEETINGS WITH GUEST SPEAKERS ON TOPICS OF INTEREST AND TO ALLOW MEMBERS TO INTERACT AND COOPERATE ON INDUSTRY TOPICS. THERE ARE EIGHT SET LUNCHEONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. SEMINARS AND OTHER EVENTS ARE ALSO ADDED AS COMMITTEES PLAN AND EXECUTE THEM. ON AVERAGE BOMA USUALLY HAS ABOUT 130 ATTENDEES FOR THE LUNCHEONS WHILE THE SEMINARS AND OTHER EVENTS VARY, ON AVERAGE ATTENDANCE IS ABOUT 55 PEOPLE FOR THESE ADDITIONAL EVENTS.


INDUSTRY ADVOCACY - DEVELOP COOPERATION BETWEEN OWNERS AND MANAGERS OF BUILDINGS AND FACILITATE THE INTERCHANGE OF IDEAS AND INFORMATION AND PROMOTE THE GENERAL WARFARE OF THE BUILDING MANAGEMENT PROFESSION.
