ACFAS PROVIDES MUTUAL AID BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND TRANSPORTATION TO LOCAL HOSPITALS TO INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF WOODBRIDGE TOWNSHIP 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK. ACFAS ALSO HAS A SHARED SERVICES AGREEMENTS WITH THE CITY OF SOUTH AMBOY TO BE THE PRIMARY PROVIDER OF BLS EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH AMBOY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 05:00 AND 17:00, SEVEN DAYS PER WEEK. IN 2022, ACFAS RESPONDED TO APPROXIMATELY 1,985 CALL FOR OF BLS EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES, APPROXIMATELY 1,755 OF WHICH RESULTED IN TRANSPORT OF THE PATIENT TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL.
