IN 2016, FOUNDATION CO-SPONSORED "MISSION" TRIP TO ISRAEL WITH THE UJA FEDERATION, TO SUPPORT AND EDUCATE THE JEWISH CULTURE AND PROVIDE COMMUNITY OUTREACH. TEN PARTICIPANTS WERE INCLUDED IN THE MISSION. OTHER CHARITIES INVOLVED WITH THE TRIP INCLUDED: SUNRISE CAMP, SCHNEIDER'S CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER OF ISRAEL, URBAN CULTURE TOUR, AYALON INSTITUTE, RABIN CENTER, SUSANS HOUSE AND FUCHSBERG JERUSALEM CENTER.THE TRIP SUCCESSFULLY PROVIDED THE OPPORTUNITY FOR PARTICIPANTS TO TOUR ISRAEL AND TO LEARN ABOUT THE JEWISH HERITAGE. THE "UJA IS THE HUB OF A DIVERSE COMMUNITY FULLY COMMITTED TO ISRAEL AND JEWS EVERYWHERE" AND THE FOUNDATION SUCCESSFULLY PARTNERED WITH A GREAT ORGANIZATION TO FURTHER EDUCATE AND ENHANCE THE JEWISH EXPERIENCE. PARTICIPANTS WERE ALSO ABLE TO VISIT THE SCHNEIDER CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER TRAUMA AND RESUSCITATION ROOM, IN TEL AVIV, ISRAEL, FUNDED BY GRANTS FROM THIS FOUNDATION.$11,400 WAS THE REMAINING EXPENSE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS CHARITABLE ACTIVITY, PAID IN 2017.
