IN 1998, THE FRIENDS OF THE JACOBUS VANDERVEER HOUSE EMBARKED ON AN AMBITIOUS MISSION.TO RESTORE, DEVELOP AND OPERATE THE JACOBUS VANDERVEER HOUSE PROPERTY, SIGNIFICANT IN THE UNITED STATES REVOLUTIONARY WAR MILITARY HISTORY, AS A NATIONALLY IMPORTANT SITE AND AN EDUCATIONAL AND COMMUITY RESOURCE.DESPITE THE COVID -19 PANDEMIC IN 2020, THE FRIENDS CONTINUED TO STRIVE TOWARDS FULFILLING THEIR MISSION THROUGH VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING AND WORKED ON THE EXPANSION OF THEIR VIRTUAL PRESENCE. THE FRIENDS ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO RE-WELCOMING THE PUBLIC BACK TO OUR MUSEUM FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMING IN 2021.
