THE PIPES OF CHRISTMAS PRESENTS THE CLASSIC SCOTTISH AND IRISH MUSIC & CULTURAL BACKGROUNG.THE EVENT HAS BECOME ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE CHRISTMAS CONCERTS IN THE METROPOLITAN AREA. THE PIPES OF CHRISTMAS OFFERS A MIX OF TRADITIONAL HOLIDAY AND SACRED MUSIC PERFORMED BY THE HIGHLAND PIPES AND CELTRIC INSTRUMENTS INTERWOVEN WITH HOLY SCRIPTURE AND CELTRIC POETRY AND LITERATURE. THIS ANNUAL EVENT IS VIDEOTAPED AND AIRED ON TELEVISION DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON.PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT FUND ORGANIZATIONS,OTHER CULTURAL AND CUMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS.
TARTAN DAY AT ELLIS ISLAND AND THE HIGHLAND GAMES & PARADE PROVIDES SCOTISH RITE MUSIC, GAMES AND FOOD. TARTAN DAY ON ELLIS ISLAND IS ONE OF THE PRINCIPAL SCOTTISH EVENTS IN THE UNITED STATES. THE ORGANIZATION SUCCESSFULLY COLLABORATES WITH THEELLIS ISLAND IMMIGRATION MUSEUM TO COORDINATE THIS ANNUAL EVENT.PROGRAMMING FOR THISEVENT HAS INCLUDED EXHIBITS ON THE JACOBITES AND AMERICA.
