TO DELIVER TO JERSEY CITY RESIDENTS A COLORFUL ANNUAL PARADE AND FESTIVAL IN CELEBRATION OF THE PHILIPPINE AMERICAN FRIENDSHIP DAY. TO ENHANCE BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE FILIPINO CULTURE AND ACTIVITIES. BE OF SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ORDER TO GAIN FOR THEMSELVES THAT RECOGNITION DUE TO THEM AS AN ETHNIC GROUP IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. TO ENHANCE THE INTEGRATION OF FILIPINOS INTO MAINSTREAM AMERICA BY ENGAGING IN SOCIO-CULTURAL, CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL UNDERTAKINGS.

CULTURAL PARADE AND FESTIVAL - TO CELEBRATE CULTURE AND DIVERSITY AND THE HISTORICAL FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN UNITED STATES AND THE PHILIPPINES. TO SUSTAIN A CLOSER RELATIONSHIP AMONG FILIPINO AMERICANS AND TO PRESERVE THE FILIPINO CULTURAL HERITAGE FOR THE FUTURE GENERATION OF FILIPINO AMERICANS. THE ANNUAL PARADE AND FESTIVAL HELD IN THE MONTH OF JUNE SHOWCASES THE FILIPINO CULTURE TO MAINSTREAM AMERICA THROUGH DECORATED FLOATS, FOLK DANCES, ARTS AND EXHIBITS,ASSORTMENT OF NATIVE DISHES, VARIETIES OF MUSIC, COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS,BUSINESSES AND LOCAL TALENTS.


VARIOUS PROGRAMS SUCH AS PASKO SA HUDSON. SIMBANG GABI, ANNUAL PICNIC,DONATIONS TO CHARITIES,CLEAN UP, ETC.


MUNICIPAL ALLIANCE AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT-THROUGH GRANT AWARDS FROM THE JERSEY CITY MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT, PAFCOM WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF FILIPINO YOUTH, FAMILIES, VETERANS AND SENIORS IN JERSEY CITY. THESE INTERGENERATIONAL SERVICES ARE DESIGNED TO FOSTER TRADITIONAL FAMILY AND CULTURAL VALUES. PROVIDE SOCIAL SERVICES TO SENIORS AND HEALTH AWARENESS ACTIVITIES. DELIVERING CONSULAR SERVICES, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PHILIPPINE CONSULATE. WORKING WITH APIA VOTE FOR VOTER REGISTRATION CAMPAIGNS AND EDUCATE ON THE IMPORTANCE OF VOTING.


PAFCOM OFFICERS AND MEMBERS RETREAT TO DEVELOP EACH VOLUNTEERS ABILITY TO ACHIEVE THE ORGANIZATION'S OBJECTIVES AND FOSTER COOPERATION AMONG THE OFFICERS, MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS.
