DUE TO THE SALE OF EAST ORANGE GENERAL HOSPITAL, THE FOUNDATION WAS IN A PERIOD OF TRANSITION TO AN INDEPENDENT ENTITY DURING 2015 AND 2016. AS A RESULT, NO PROGRAMS WERE UNDERTAKEN. THE FOUNDATION RESUMED PROGRAMMING IN 2017, PROMOTING HEALTHCARE GENERALLY AND THE PROVISION OF HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN THE CITIES OF EAST ORANGE AND ORANGE, NEW JERSEY. THE FOUNDATION ALSO ESTABLISHES SPONSORS AND PROMOTES EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES DEVOTED TO IMPROVING AND PROTECTING THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF INDIVIDUALS, ALONG WITH FOSTERING LOW INCOME HOUSING TO PERSONS WITH BEHAVIORAL NEEDS, PRIMARILY IN THE CITIES OF EAST ORANGE AND ORANGE, NEW JERSEY
