SEE SCHEDULE OFOUNDED IN 1990, CHESTER THEATRE COMPANY IS AN AWARD-WINNING INSTITUTION THAT PRODUCES FOUR PLAYS EACH SUMMER IN THE TOWN HALL THEATRE OF CHESTER, MA. EACH YEAR, APPROXIMATELY 5,000 PEOPLE ATTEND ITS PRODUCTIONS, WHICH ARE FOLLOWED BY THOUGHT-PROVOKING TALKBACKS, CAST CONVERSATIONS, OR PANEL DISCUSSIONS AT SPECIFIC PERFORMANCES. AFTER A SEASON OF OUTDOOR PROGRAMMING IN 2021, WE WERE HAPPY TO BE BACK IN THE CHESTER TOWN HALL DURING THE SUMMER OF 2022. THE PLAYS PRODUCED WERE: "PRIDE@PREJUDICE," "BIRDS OF NORTH AMERICA," " PASS OVER, AND THE WORLD PREMIERE OF "TO THE MOON AND BACK." THE COMPANY HOSTS TWO EAGERLY AWAITED AND WELL-ATTENDED THEATRE TOURS ANNUALLY: A SPRING TRIP TO LONDON AND A FALL TRIP TO ANOTHER DESTINATION, SUCH AS CHICAGO, WASHINGTON DC, AND TORONTO. THOUGH THE PANDEMIC KEPT US FROM TRAVELING TO LONDON IN MARCH OF 2020, 2021, AND 2022, WE RESUMED OUR POPULAR TOURING FUNDRAISER IN THE FALL OF 2022 WITH A TRIP TO CHICAGO.
