HEALTH CARE PROGRAMS, GENERAL/OTHER: SCHUYLER HEALTH FOUNDATION ANNUAL FOF 2020 AND FOF 2021 CAMPAIGNS WERE MULTIPRONGED CAMPAIGNS. DOLLARS WERE RAISED FOR SCHUYLER HOSPITAL AND THE SKILLED NURSING UNITS. A PORTION OF THE UNDESIGNATED CAPITAL AND EQUIPMENT DOLLARS DONATED TO SCHUYLER HOSPITAL FOR THE FOF 20 AND FOF 21 CAMPAIGN WERE UTILIZED TO PAY FOR THE REMAINING BALANCE OF THE TRANSFORMATION PROJECT. THIS PROJECT WILL INCREASE THE QUALITY, DIVERSITY AND ACCURACY OF CARE RECEIVED BY PATIENTS. ALSO, USED REMAINING FOF 21 FUNDS WERE UTILIZED TO PAY FOR PARTIAL SURGICAL SERVICES - SPD RENOVATIONS UPGRADE PROJECT.
IN ADDITION, FUNDS WERE RAISED FOR THE SKILLED NURSING FACILITY. IN 2021, THERE WAS A RELEASE OF 2020 CAMPAIGN DOLLARS ($4,346) TO PARTIALLY FUND THE PURCHASE OF A VAN IN ORDER TO TRANSPORT SNF RESIDENTS TO VARIOUS APPOINTMENTS AND EVENTS, THIS INCREASES RESIDENTS' HEALTH AND QUALITY OF LIFE. ALSO IN 2021 , THERE WAS A RELEASE OF 2021 CAMPAIGN DOLLARS ($8,848) FOR SNF SEATING.
SCHUYLER HEALTH FOUNDATION RECEIVES DOLLARS FOR SPECIFIC NEEDS FOR THE HOSPITAL AND/OR THE SNF. IN 2021, AMOUNTS WERE EXPENDED IN SUPPORT OF A LARGE IMAGING PROJECT AND THE FOUNDATION ALSO EXPENDED FAMILY OF FRIENDS FUNDS MAINLY FOR A DIABETIC EYE CAMERA AND COVID RESPONSE.
