LENDING: ACCOUNTS FOR ALL LENDING ACTIVITY RELATED TO THE REHAB LOAN FUND PROGRAM. IN 2021, OUR LENDING DOCUMENTATION SUCCESSFULLY PASSED ALL FEDERAL AND STATE MONITORING AND LICENSING INSPECTIONS. THE LENDING PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR ALL BORROWERS TO ENSURE THE SCOPE OF WORK MEETS ALL FEDERAL AND STATE REQUIREMENTS.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT: ACCOUNTS FOR ALL ACTIVITY RELATING TO LEASING AND MAINTAINING RENTAL HOUSING UNITS. IN 2021, OUR BUILDINGS AND TENANT DOCUMENTATION SUCCESSFULLY PASSED ALL FEDERAL AND STATE AGENCY MONITORING INSPECTIONS. THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT HIRED TWO SUPPORTIVE SERVICES STAFF IN EARLY 2021, ENABLING THE DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR HOUSEHOLDS THROUGH COORDINATION OF BENEFIT APPLICATIONS, HOUSEHOLD BUDGETING, TENANT MEDIATION, ADVOCACY WITH SERVICE AGENCIES FOR THE DISABLED, ELDERLY, FAMILIES, INDIVIDUALS, AND FOR COMMUNITY RESIDENTS FACING HOMELESSNESS. THESE SERVICES WERE CRITICAL, PARTICULARLY AS THE PANDEMIC CONTINUED AND MANY RESIDENTS NEEDED HELP ACCESSING EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE TO RETAIN THEIR HOUSING.
HOUSING DEVELOPMENT: ACCOUNTS FOR ALL ACTIVITY RELATING TO ACQUISITION AND REHABILITATION OR CONSTRUCTION OF HOUSING UNITS. IN 2021 WWHT RECEIVED CARES ACT FUNDING TO RENOVATE AN EXISTING MOTEL INTO 35 UNITS TO HOUSE INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS.
HOMEOWNERSHIP: ACCOUNTS FOR ALL ACTIVITY RELATING TO FACILITATING THE OWNERSHIP & STEWARDSHIP OF SINGLE FAMILY HOMES, FACILITATING HOME PURCHASE AND IMPROVEMENT LOANS AND PROVIDING HOUSING COUNSELING SERVICES TO LOCAL HOMEBUYERS AND HOMEOWNERS THROUGH THE COMMUNITY LAND TRUST MODEL AND FACILITATING GRANTS TO MULTIFAMILY PROPERTY OWNERS TO MAKE HEALTH AND SAFETY REPAIRS TO APARTMENTS. IN 2021, THE HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM SUCCESSFULLY PASSED ALL FEDERAL AND STATE MONITORING INSPECTIONS. SUPPORT AND SERVICES AT HOME (SASH): ACCOUNTS FOR ALL ACTIVITY RELATED TO PROVIDING A SEAMLESS SYSTEM OF AT-HOME SERVICE AND SUPPORT SO INDIVIDUALS CAN REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES THROUGHOUT THEIR LIVES.
