THE ORGANIZATION WAS FOUNDED TO OFFER YOUNG WOMEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN THE NECESSARY SKILLS IN PLAYING ICE HOCKEY, OFFER A COMPETITIVE VENUE TO SHOWCASE THOSE SKILLS, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME LEARNING LEADERSHIP, SPORTSMANSHIP AND TEAM WORK. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ASSISTS THE PARTICIPANTS IN OBTAINING FINANCIAL AID AT NEW ENGLAND PREPARATORY SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.

ORGANIZATION PARTICIPATES IN SEVERAL ALL WOMEN ICE HOCKEY TOURNAMENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP ICE HOCKEY AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND SPORTSMANSHIP IN A COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT. THIS PARTICIPATION PROVIDES EXPOSURE TO COACHES OF PREPARATORY SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES WHO CAN OFFER FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE PARTICIPANTS.
