THE WOLCOTT LAND CONSERVATION TRUST BENEFITS THE RESIDENTS OF THE TOWN OF WOLCOTT BY PRESERVING OPEN SPACE AND ALLOWING FOR ITS ACCESSIBILITY TO WOLCOTT AND IT'S SURROUNDING AREA'S BENEFIT. WE HAVE ONE PUBLISHED BLUE BLAZED TRAIL AND HAVE BEEN WORKING ON CREATING SOME OTHER TRAILS FOR PUBLIC USE.
WE SUPPORT THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL BY GIVING A SCHOLARSHIP EACH YEAR AND WORK WITH LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OFFERING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEM TO LEARN ABOUT AND ASSIST IN THE MAINTENANCE OF OUR PROPERTIES. OUR PRESIDENT SPEAKS AT THIS EVENT TO CREATE AWARENESS FOR OUR LAND TRUST AND WHAT WE OFFER TO THE COMMUNITY AND TOWN OF WOLCOTT.
