BALATON GROUP MEETING - AFTER A TWO-YEAR HIATUS DUE TO COVID-19, THE INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF RESOURCE INFORMATION CENTERS ("INRIC") HELD ITS 39TH IN-PERSON, ANNUAL MEETING IN HUNGARY IN SEPTEMBER 2022, WITH 26 PARTICIPANTS FROM 17 COUNTRIES.
PROJECTS - THREE GRANTS WERE MADE FOR PROJECTS AIMED AT ENHANCING COLLABORATION AMONG MEMBERS. THESE INVOLVED COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE IN INDONESIA, SUSTAINABLE FOOD SYSTEMS IN GHANA, AND A DEEP SEA MINING SIMULATION.
FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM - THOUGH NO NEW FELLOWS WERE SELECTED IN 2022, INRIC CONTINUES TO SUPPORT RETURNING PARTICIPANTS AND THE DONELLA MEADOWS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM OVERALL.
