PATIENT SERVICE - GENERAL INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT HOSPITAL CARE. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO THOSE IN NEED REGARDLESS OF THE PATIENTS' ABILITY TO PAY, RACE, CREED, NATIONAL ORIGIN, LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES, OR DISEASE. CAYUGA MEDICAL CENTER WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE COMMUNITY TO DETERMINE HEALTH NEEDS AND SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT IMPROVE THE HEALTH STATUS OF THE COMMUNITY.


HEALTH CAREER SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO STUDENTS PURSUING A HEALTHCARE DEGREES AND EMERGENCY FUNDS ARE PROVIDE TEMPORARY FUNDS TO EMPLOYEES ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY EMERGENT SITUATIONS. IN 2022 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE PAID OUT OF THE FOUNDATION DUE TO INCREASE IN FOUNDATION RESTRICTED FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR SCHOLARSHIPS.
