UNION HOOK AND LADDER COMPANY NO. 1 OF BEDMINSTER - FAR HILLS, NEW JERSEY (KNOWN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS THE FAR HILLS-BEDMINSTER FIRE DEPARTMENT) IS A VOLUNTEER FIRE-FIGHTING ORGANIZATION WHICH SERVES THE TOWNSHIP OF BEDMINSTER AND THE BOROUGH OF FAR HILLS IN SOMERSET COUNTY, NEW JERSEY. ADDITIONAL SERVICES WHICH THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES INCLUDE VEHICLE EXTRICATION, WATER RESCUE, HAZARDOUS MATERIAL RESPONSE, PUBLIC ASSISTANCE, AND FIRE PREVENTION AND EDUCATION.
