TO SUPERVISE SUCH STUDENT ACTIVITIES AS THE UNIVERSITY BOARD OF TRUSTEES MAY WISH TO PLACE WITHIN THE PURVIEW OF THE CORPORATION. TO ENGAGE IN SUCH OPERATIONS AND TO SERVE SUCH FUNCTIONS AS SHALL BE REQUESTED AND APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY.

DUE TO COVID-19 AND THE UNIVERSITY BEING MOSTLY VIRTUAL FOR THE YEAR, MANY OF THE BIGGER EVENTS HAPPENED IN THE SPRING. HERE ARE A FEW OF THE EVENTS THAT WE DID HAVE.- SAPB HOSTED THEIR SPRING WEEK AND WAS SUPER EXCITED ABOUT FINALLY HAVING EVENTS ON CAMPUS. ON APRIL 13TH, 2021 THEY HOSTED BACKSTAGE PASS, WHERE THEY HAD ARTIST TINK COME TO THE SHEA CENTER AND DO A Q/A WITH STUDENTS AS WELL AS PERFORM A FEW SONGS. THEY HELPED STUDENTS ASK QUESTIONS TO THE ARTIST AS WELL AS ENJOY A SMALL PERFORMANCE. THIS EVENT COSTED $12,100 BUT WAS WELL ATTENDED WITH ABOUT 150 STUDENTS DUE TO THE SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES AS WELL AS THE SPACE OF THE AUDITORIUM.- SAPB ALSO HOSTED A COMEDY SHOW ON APRIL 14TH, 2021. THIS EVENT COSTED $10,300. ABOUT 100 STUDENTS CAME OUT FOR THIS EVENT THAT WAS ALSO HELD AT SHEA AUDITORIUM FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING. NOT ONLY DID THEY HAVE REAL COMEDIANS THEY ALSO HAD OPENERS FROM THE COMEDY CLUB ON CAMPUS TAKE THE STAGE. THE STUDENTS LOVED SEEING THEIR CLASSMATES SHARE THEIR TALENTS. THE EVENT WAS WELL PUT TOGETHER AND THE STUDENTS ENJOYED THEIR TIME- OUTDOOR SPRING EVENT WAS A TWO-DAY EVENT IN APRIL (22ND, 23RD). THIS EVENT COSTED $7,313. WE HAD MANY INFLATABLES, GAMES, SNACKS, AND PRIZES FOR THE STUDENTS. A GREAT WAY TO END A CRAZY YEAR FOR THE STUDENTS. THIS WAS OUTSIDE SO THE STUDENTS COULD COME AND HANG OUT ENJOY THE WEATHER OR JUST STOP IN ON THEIR WAY TO CLASS. WE HAD OVER 300 STUDENTS ENJOY THIS TWO-DAY EVENT.
