THE COOPER HEALTH SYSTEM, A NEW JERSEY NON-PROFIT CORPORATION (CHS) IS COMPRISED OF FOUR DIVISIONS: THE COOPER UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL (CUH), COOPER UNIVERSITY PHYSICIANS (CUP), COOPER CARE ALLIANCE (CCA), AND MD ANDERSON COOPER CANCER CENTER. THE CUH INCLUDES THE OPERATIONS OF COOPER UNIVERSITY HEALTH CARE AND THE CHILDREN'S REGIONAL HOSPITAL AT COOPER, AS WELL AS PROGRAMS FOCUSING ON AMBULATORY DIAGNOSTIC AND TREATMENT SERVICES, WELLNESS AND PREVENTION, AND MANY OTHER HEALTH SERVICES. THE CUP CONSISTS PRIMARILY OF THE EMPLOYED MEDICAL STAFF. THE CCA IS A COMMUNITY-BASED PHYSICIAN PRACTICE WHOSE PHYSICIANS ARE EMPLOYED BY COOPER, BUT DO NOT HAVE FACULTY APPOINTMENTS.
