IN THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR, THE W20 FOUNDATION'S TEAM UP 4 COMMUNITY PROGRAM, WHICH FOSTERS SOCIAL RESONSIBILITY IN YOUTH ATHLETES, RESULTED IN 79,391 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE WORK PERFORMED BY OVER 44,892 LONG ISLAND YOUTH ATHLETES. THE ATHLETES WERE INVOLVED IN 558 COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS. THE ESTIMATED VALUE OF THEIR TIME CONTRIBUTED AND GIVEN BACK TO THE COMMUNITIES IS $670,846.ADDITIONALLY, THE TEAM UP 4 COMMUNITY PROGRAM NYSPHSAA COMMUNITY SERVICE CHALLENGE YIELDED A TOTAL OF 228 PROJECTS, 5,744 STUDENT-ATHLETES PARTICIPATING, 26,399 HOURS VOLUNTEERED AND $247,053 RAISED FOR CHARITABLE CAUSES BY NEW YORK STATE HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES. THE TEAM UP 4 COMMUNITY PROGRAM'S MIAA COMMUNITY SERVICE CHALLENGE YIELDED A TOTAL OF 68 PROJECTS, 3,359 STUDENT-ATHLETES PARTICIPATING, 12,477 HOURS VOLUNTEERED AND $44,846 RAISED FOR CHARITABLE CAUSES BY MASSACHUSETTS HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES.
