Part 3 - Line 1

AS THE CHARITABLE ARM OF THE FIDALGO ISLAND ROTARY CLUB, WE UTILIZE A GLOBAL NETWORK OF ROTARIANS WHO INVEST THEIR TIME, MONEY AND EXPERTISE INTO CHARITABLE PROJECTS. THE FOUNDATION TRANSFORMS CHARITABLE GIFTS INTO PROJECTS THAT CHANGE LIVES BOTH CLOSE TO HOME AND AROUND THE WORLD. GLOBAL WORK INCLUDES PROJECTS SUCH AS ERADICATING POLIO AND PROMOTING PEACE. FOUNDATION GRANTS ASSIST ROTARIANS TO APPROACH CHALLENGES SUCH AS POVERTY, ILLITERACY AND MALNUTRITION WITH SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS THAT LEAVE A LASTING IMPACT. LOCAL PROJECTS AND GRANTS ARE FOCUSED ON ENHANCEMENT OF OUR COMMUNITY AND ITS MEMBERS.

THE FOUNDATION ORGANIZES AND SUPPORTS ACTIVITIES FOR LOCAL YOUTH AND AWARDS GRANTS TO WORTHY ORGANIZATIONS THAT FOCUS ON SERVING THE YOUTH OF THE COMMUNITY.


IN PARTNERSHIP WITH A ROTARY CLUB IN CANADA, THE FOUNDATION SENT RELIEF AID TO UKRAINE REFUGEES IN THE AMOUNT OF 5,566 AND ADDITIONAL FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF 6,149 TO VARIOUS OTHER CHARITIES. .


THE FOUNDATION AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO INDIVIDUALS IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY INCLUDING GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WHO ARE FURTHERING THEIR EDUCATION SEEKING TECHNICAL DEGREES.


THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS PROJECTS IN LATIN AMERICA IN MOST ASPECTS OF INTERNATIONAL AID, INCLUDING EDUCATION, HEALTH, WATER, CONSTRUCTION, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND DISASTER RELIEF.
