B.I.G. LOVE CANCER CARE WAS ESTABLISHED IN FEBRUARY OF 2007 IN MEMORY OF BROOKE A PHILLIPS WITH ONE PREIMARY FOCUS-EASING THE CHILDHOOD CANCER JOURNY. OUR CORE MISSION IS TO MEET THE MOST BASIC AND URGENT PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND FINANCIAL NEEDS OF PEDIATIC ONCOLOGY AND HEMATOLOGY PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

BIG LOVE PROVIDES SERVICES TO ALL ONCOLOGY AND HEMATOLOGY PATIENTS BETWEEN THE AGES OF BIRTH TO 21 YEARS OLD REGARDLESS OF INCOME 52 WEEKS A YEAR. CURRENTLY BIG LOVE PROVIDES SERVICES TO PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES AT TEN (10) HOSPITALS: TEXAS CHILDRENS HOSPITAL AT HOUSTON, KATY AND THE WOODLANDS, DELL CHILDRENS MEDICAL CENTER IN AUSTIN, MD ANDERSON CHILDRENS CANCER HOSPITAL IN HOUSTON, METHODIST CHILDRENS HOSPITAL IN SAN ANTONIO, BROOKE ARMY MEDICAL IN SAN ANTONIO, CHILDRENS HOSPITAL OF SAN ANTONIO, MCLANE CHILDRENS HOSPITAL IN TEMPLE,AND CHILDRENS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN HOUSTON. SERVICES INCLUDE PROVIDING FOOD, HOUSING, FINANCIAL SUPPORT WITH BILLS, TRANSPORTATION, FUNERAL EXPENSES, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, SCHOLARSHIPS, SUPPORT GROUPS FOR KIDS AND ADULTS, PALLIATIVE CARE AND END OF LIFE SUPPORT, COUNSELING, SPECIAL PARTIES AND ACTIVITIES.
