ADVOCACY AND POLICYRAISE YOUR HAND FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS IS A NON-PROFIT EDUCATION ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION WORKING TO STRENGTHEN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN TEXAS. WE WANT TO BRING AN INFORMED AND REASONED VOICE TO DEBATES OVER THE DIRECTION OF EDUCATION POLICY IN TEXAS BY DEVELOPING GRASSROOTS SUPPORT FROM THE GOVERNMENT, BUSINESSES, EDUCATORS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC THROUGH PUBLIC RELATIONS ACTIVITIES, MEDIA AND NEWS COVERAGE. THE PURPOSE OF THESE ACTIVITIES IS TO CREATE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING IN BOTH THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR OF HOW THE EXISTING PUBLIC EDUCATION SYSTEM OPERATES AND HOW THE REFORMS ADVOCATED BY RAISE YOUR HAND FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS CAN IMPROVE AND STRENGTHEN THE CURRENT SYSTEM.
