IN 2020, PUSH TO WALK SERVED A TOTAL OF APPROXIMATELY 65 CLIENTS, WHICH IS LESS TO THE NUMBER OF CLIENTS SERVED IN 2019. PUSH TO WALK WAS CLOSED IN MARCH OF 2020 AND DID NOT REOPEN UNTIL JULY OF 2020 DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC. AS RESULT OF THE PANDEMIC, PUSH TO WALK REDUCED BOTH THE NUMBER OF CLIENTS AND STAFF MEMBERS THAT COULD BE PRESENT ON THE GYM FLOOR AT ANY GIVEN APPOINTMENT TIME. AT THE END OF 2020 PUSH TO WALK'S TRAINING STAFF INCLUDED 4 FULL- TIME TRAINERS, 3 PART-TIME TRAINERS AND 6 PART-TIME AIDES. ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF CONSISTED OF A PART-TIME EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, A PART-TIME DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT, A PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER AND A PART-TIME CLIENT & EVENT COORDINATOR.
IN JUNE OF 2020, PUSH TO WALK ELIMINATED THE POSITION OF DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS. PUSH TO WALK CONTINUES TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE STAFF TO ATTEND CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS ON THE LATEST RESEARCH IN SPINAL CORD INJURIES, TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURIES AND OTHER FORMS OF PARALYSIS. THE 2020 NATIONAL CONFERENCE, WORKING TO WALK, WAS A ATTENDED BY THREE STAFF MEMBERS REMOTELY IN ADDITION TO MANY OTHER SEMINARS AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES.
