ITS PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORTIVE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING AND TEAM MENTORING IN A SAFE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT WHERE SINGLE PARENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO RESTORE LIFE'S 4 KEY RELATIONSHIPS.

TRH PROVIDES SUPPORTIVE HOUSING, FAMILY ADVOCACY, AND TEAM MENTORING. TRADITIONAL HOUSING UNITS ARE PROVIDED TO EACH OF ITS SINGLE-PARENT FAMILIES FOR AN AVERAGE OF TWO YEARS. EACH SINGLE-PARENT FOCUSES ON CAREER DEVELOPMENT AS THEY WORK TOWARD SELF-RELIANCE. TRH'S FAMILY ADVOCACY PROGRAM ASSISTS WITH COORDINATION AND PLANNING RELATED TO A SINGLE-PARENT FAMILY'S VISION FOR THEIR FUTURE. A CONTRACT OUTLINING THE BASIC LIMITATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS OF THE TRH PROGRAM IS SIGNED BY EACH PARTICIPATING SINGLE-PARENT FAMILY. MENTORING TEAMS OF 6 TO 12 MENTORS FROM LOCAL CHURCHES WALK ALONGSIDE EACH PARTICIPATING FAMILY. THE MENTOR TEAM PROVIDES EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT ALONG WITH PRACTICAL GUIDANCE.
