BY HELPING TO DEVELOP EVIDENCE-BASED PROTOCOLS, THE AVA FOUNDATION SEEKS TO EFFECTIVELY IMPROVE PATIENT OUTCOMES BY PROVIDING FUNDS TO HEALTHCARE PRACTITIONERS TO PURSUE HIGHER EDUCATION SO THEY MAY DELIVER THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF VASCULAR ACCESS CARE. TRAVEL AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE TO CLINICIANS TO ATTEND THE ASSOCIATION FOR VASCULAR ACCESS (AVA) ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING. THIS MEETING PROMOTES HANDS-ON INVOLVEMENT AND EDUCATION. THE AVA FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS THAT PROMOTE QUALITY VASCULAR ACCESS CARE TO PATIENTS.
