THE MISSION OF MAS BAY AREA IS TO DEVELOP ROLE MODELS, AGENTS OF CHANGE, AND THOUGHT LEADERS TO CREATE SYNERGY AMONG THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY TO POSITIVELY INFLUENCE BAY AREA SOCIETY AT LARGE. THIS IS A ACHIEVED THROUGH YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS OF PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, AS WELL AS SIGNATURE PROJECTS THAT SERVE THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY AND LARGER SOCIETY, LIKE QURAN QUEST, SEERAH QUEST, AND BACK-TO-SCHOOL BACKPACK DRIVE. IN 2022, THE CHAPTER MAINTAINED THE HIRED STAFFING AT TWO FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AND ONE PART-TIME EMPLOYEE. ALSO, THE CHAPTER CONTRACTED WITH PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR ACCOUNTING BOOKKEEPING AND WEBSITE ADMINISTRATION. FINALLY, THE CHAPTER INCREASED ITS OFFERED YOUTH SERVICES AND EVENTS. IN 2023, THE CHAPTER PLANS TO BECOME FINANCIALLY STABLE AND EXPAND THE EVENT AND PROGRAM OFFERINGS BY THE CHAPTER RESIDENT SCHOLAR.
