THE KPHS ALL SPORTS BOOSTER CLUB WAS ORGANIZED TO CULTIVATE, SUPPORT AND PROMOTE ATHLETIC PROGRAMS WITH KPHS IN THE HUMBLE ISD. THE BOOSTER CLUB WILL RAISE FUNDS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE SCHOOLS ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT.

PROGRAM SERVICE EXPENSES ARE TO SUPPORT THE COACHES NEEDS. THESE INCLUDE EQUIPMENT SUCH AS UNIFORMS, MAINTENANCE OF TRAINING FACILITIES AND ANY OTHER RELEVANT SUPPLIES, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT TO SUPPORT THE FUNCTIONS OF ALL ATHLETIC PROGRAMS. THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 1800 STUDENTS AT KPHS OF WHICH 1,200 ARE ATHLETES AND THERE ARE 97 BOOSTER CLUB MEMBERS. THE MEMBERS ARE THE PARENTS, NOT THE STUDENTS IN MOST CASES.


THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IS TO PROMOTE AND AWARD, THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS, EXCEPTIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AND INVOLVEMENT IN SCHOLASTIC ATHLETIC, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE AREAS TO OUTSTANDING SENIOR STUDENT/ATHLETES. THE BOARD BUDGETS FOR A MINIMUM OF 12 $1,500 SCHOLARSHIPS TO BE AWARDED ANNUALLY. DURING THE 6/30/24 TAX YEAR, THE FOLLOWING SCHOLARSHIPS WERE FUNDED: 12 $1,500 EACH, 3 SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000 EACH, AND 3 SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE AMOUNT OF $750 EACH. THESE WERE AWARDED BASED ON THE SELECTION CRITERIA OF ACADEMIC (10%),ATHLETICS (60%), EXTRA-CURRICULAR (10%), AND ESSAY (20%). THE RECIPIENTS MUST BE KPHS SENIOR STUDENT ATHLETES, TRAINERS, OR CHEERLEADERS WHOSE SPORT FALLS UNDER THE PURVIEW OF THE KPHS ALL SPORTS BOOSTER CLUB.
