CLEFWORKS IS A MUSIC OUTREACH PROGRAM DESIGNED TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION AND ENJOYMENT OF CHAMBER MUSIC THROUGH A SERIES OF PERFORMANCES IN THE MONTGOMERY AREA. CLEFWORKS 2021-2022 SEASON CELEBRATED 15 YEARS OF ADDING MORE MUSIC TO MONTGOMERY WE FILLED OUR 15TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON WITH FIVE MAJOR EVENTS. THE LONG AWAITED AND DELAYED CHAMBER MUSIC AMERICA SPONSORED CONCERT BY THE WESTERLIES WAS HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CITY OF MONTGOMERY AND THE ROSA PARKS MUSEUM. WE HOSTED A SEMINAR ON THE MUSIC OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY LEADERS, ARTS PROFESSIONALS AND CIVIL RIGHTS ADVOCATES. WE CONTINUED TO FOSTER THE APPRECIATION OF CHAMBER MUSIC, HIRED CLASSICALLY TRAINED MUSICIANS, HOSTED CONCERTS, AND CELEBRATED A CULTURE OF MUSIC APPRECIATION IN MONTGOMERY, AL. ORCHESTRA NOIR TRAVELLED TO US FOR AN EDUCATIONAL RESIDENCY, CHILDREN'S CONCERT AND PUBLIC CELEBRATION CONCERT IN CITY HALL THAT BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN. STEAMFEST AND HOUSE CONCERTS ROUNDED OUT OUR MEMORABLE 15TH SEASON OF EDUCATING STUDENTS AND ENTERTAINING THE MONTGOMERY COMMUNITY.
