WE PROVIDE MEDICAL/DENTAL CARE IN REMOTE AREAS OF KENYA THAT WOULD NOT HAVE MUCH AVAILABLE TO THEM CARE-WISE. OUR LARGEST PROJECT IS A HOME FOR YOUNG GIRLS WHO COME TO US UNDER THE AGE OF 12 THAT HAVE ENDURED OR ARE AT HIGH RISK OF FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION /CHILD MARRIAGE AND WE SPONSOR PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN'S EDUCATION.

WE HELP RAISE FUNDS AND BRING ABOUT AWARENESS FOR THE OLMALAIKA HOME WHICH IS A HOME FOR YOUNG GIRLS WHO COME TO THE HOME UNDER THE AGE OF 12 THAT HAVE EITHER ENDURED OR ARE AT HIGH RISK OF FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION AND CHILD MARRIAGE. THE HOME CURRENTLY HAS 25 GIRLS LIVING THERE AND 9 GIRLS HAVE TRANSITIONED BACK HOME WHILE WE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR EDUCATION THE "LITTLE" OL MALAIKA IS A HOME WHERE THE DIRECTOR STAYS AND GUESTS/VOLUNTEERS THAT COME TO KENYA TO WORK WITH THE GIRLS AND PROVIDE CARE IN THE COMMUNITY.
WE PROVIDE EDUCATION VIA SPONSORSHIP (DONATIONS) FOR STREET BOYS IN NAIROBI THAT WOULD HAVE OTHERWISE BEEN LEFT ON THE STREETS TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES. IN 2020 WE HAD 3 BOYS GOING FULL TIME TO SCHOOL AND GLOBAL VILLAGE MINISTRIES PROVIDES FUNDING FOR THEIR UNIFORMS, TRANSPORT TO AND FROM SCHOOL, PLUS TUITION/BOARDING FEES. AS WE HAVE THE FUNDS AVAILABLE, WE PURCHASE CLOTHING AND HELP WITH FOOD BASKETS FOR THE FAMILIES. ALL OF THE BOYS HAVE COMPLETED PRIMARY SCHOOL UNDER OUR CARE AND THEY ARE ALL IN SECONDARY SCHOOL NOW.
WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE TO NUMEROUS VILLAGES IN SOUTHERN KENYA IN 2020, AS WELL AS SUPPLY COMMUNITIES WITH PARASITE MEDICINES, VITAMINS, AND PROVIDE HEALTH EDUCATION. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WE WERE ABLE TO ALSO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THOSE NEEDING IN-PATIENT CARE AT LOCAL HOSPITALS AND READING GLASSES, PLUS SUNGLASSES FOR THOSE WITH CATARACTS.
