THE LAND ART GENERATOR INITIATIVE PRESENTS AND SPEAKS ON THE CULTURAL IMPLICATIONS OF THE RENEWABLE ENERGY TRANSITION AND THE IMPORTANCE OF DESIGN TO CLIMATE SOLUTIONS. THE ORGANIZATION ENGAGES IN WORKSHOPS, LECTURES, AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO TEACH THE PUBLIC ABOUT RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES WITH A FOCUS ON STUDENTS AND DESIGN PROFESSIONALS OF ALL AGES.


THE LAND ART GENERATOR INITITIATIVE AND BURNING MAN PROJECT PARTNERED TO LAUNCH A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY DESIGN CHALLENGE - LAGI 2020 FLY RANCH - THAT WILL CREATE THE FOUNDATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF FLY RANCH. THE OUTCOMES OF LAGI 2020 FLY RANCH WILL OFFER THE WORLD A PORTFOLIO OF SOLUTIONS FOR ENERGY, WATER, FOOD, SHELTER AND ZERO WASTE THAT INCOPORATES THE LATEST OF TECHNOLOGIES AVAILABLE AS MEDIA FOR AWE-INSPIRING WORKS OF INFRASTRUCTURAL ART IN THE LANDSCAPE.


LAGI 2022 MANNHEIM: THE GERMAN FEDERAL HORTICULTURE SHOW (BUGA 23) INVITED THE LAND ART GENERATOR INITIATIVE TO DELIVER A DESIGN COMPETITION FOR THE CITY OF MANNHEIM, GERMANY. THE EVENT WILL RESULT IN AN EXHIBITION AND PUBLICATION OF DESIGNS FOR UNIQUE WORKS OF ART THAT USE RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGY TO SUPPORT SUSTAINABLE HUMAN THRIVING, SUPPLYING CLEAN MEGAWATT-HOURS TO THE CITY OF MANNHEIM. SHORTLISTED DESIGN ENTRIES WILL BE FEATURED IN AN EXHIBITION AT BUGA 23, THE GERMAN BUNDESGARTENSCHAU THAT WILL OPEN IN MANNHEIM IN APRIL OF 2023 WITH ATTENDANCE IN THE MILLIONS.
