THE TRUSTEES PROVIDE GRANTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE TRUST'S SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS
PROGRAMMATIC INVESTMENT EXPENSES INCLUDE LEGAL FEES, PAYMENTS TO CONSULTANTS AND COST OF DONATED LABOR FOR WORK DIRECTLY RELATED TO PROGRAMMATIC INVESTMENTS. INVESTMENT ADVISORY FEES RELATE TO NONPROGRAMMATIC INVESTMENTS AND ARE NETTED AGAINST INVESTMENT INCOME. GENERAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES INCLUDE LEGAL FEES AND VARIOUS OTHER EXPENSES NOT RELATED TO INVESTMENTS. CERTAIN FUNCTIONAL EXPENSES ARE ALLOCATED BETWEEN PROGRAMMATIC AND GENERAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES BASED UPON PERCENT OF TIME SPENT ADMINISTERING PROGRAMMATIC INVESTMENTS OR THE PERCENT OF PROGRAMMATIC INVESTMENTS TO TOTAL INVESTMENTS.
