IN COMPLIANCE WITH ITS PURPOSE OF PROVIDING CAPITAL AND PROGRAMMATIC RESOURCES TO GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF NORTHWEST NORTH CAROLINA, INC., THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED CASH GRANTS IN 2021 OF $3,200,000. THE GRANTS WERE USED TO FUND GOODWILL MISSION SERVICE PROGRAMS INCLUDING CAREER CONNECTION CENTERS, WHICH ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS IN FINDING EMPLOYMENT, AND PROJECT RE-ENTRY, WHICH ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS RECENTLY RELEASED FROM PRISON TO RE-ENTER THE JOB MARKET. IN ADDITION, GRANT MONIES WERE USED TO PROVIDE CAPITAL FOR GOODWILL INITIATIVES DESIGNED TO SUSTAIN MISSION FUNDING.
