OPERATION OF LONG BEACH, N.Y., ANIMAL SHELTER:POSH PETS RESCUE HAS ENTERRED INTO A CONTRACT TO OPERATE THE LONG BEACH, NY "NO KILL" ANIMAL SHELTER. IN ADDITION TO OPERATING THE SHELTER, POSH PETS RESCUE HAS COMMITTED TO UPGRADING THE FACILITY WITH THROUGH GRANTS AND DONATIONS. OVER $226,000 OF IMPROVEMENTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN MADE. THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL HAD BEEN TO PROVIDE THE SHELTER WITH IN EXCESS OF $100,000 IN NEEDED IMPROVEMENTS TO FACILITATE THE PROPER CARE AND PLACEMENT OF ITS CATS AND DOGS.
ANIMAL RESCUE CARE AND FOSTERING:POSH PETS RESCUE IS DEDICATED TO THE RESCUE, REHABILITATION AND PALCEMENT OF HOMELESS ANOMALS, MANY OF WHOM ARE RESCUED AT THE VERY LAST MOMENT FROM EUTHANASIA AT CITY SHELTERS. POSH PETS RESCUE REHABILITATES, TRAINS AND FINDS HOMES FOR APPROXIMATELY 200 CATS AND DOGS EVERY YEAR.
