WE CONTINUE TO COLLECT AND RECYCLE MERCURY SWITCHES FROM RECYCLERS IN ALL 50 STATES. THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANT RECYCLERS CONTINUES TO GROW AND EDUCATION MATERIALS PROVIDING TRAINING IN ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY DISPOSAL ARE PROVIDED TO ALL PARTICIPANTS. VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS ARE BILLED FOR RECYCLING COSTS BASED ON THEIR SHARE OF SWITCHES. IN 2021, ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS RETURNED 278 LBS OF MERCURY.
