IN HIS NAME CHRISTIAN SERVICES, INC. WORKED CLOSELY WITH GRACE FELLOWSHIP AT SOUTH PARK, THE SALVATION ARMY AND OTHER LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS DURING THE CALENDER YEAR 2021 TO PROVIDE NUTRITIOUS FOOD TO ECONOMICALLY DEVASTED FAMILES IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, NC. QUALIFIED FAMILIES WERE SERVED MONTHLY. APPLICANTS WERE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE ELIGIBILITY FORMS WHICH WERE WITHIN SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK'S GUIDELINES. QUALIFIED FAMILIES WERE SERVED WITHOUT CONSIDERATION OF RACE, RELIGION OR STATUS. IHNCS, INC. VOLUNTEERS DELIVERED FOOD BASKETS TO RECIPIENTS WHO WERE UNABLE TO PICK UP THE FOOD WITH THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION OR THAT OF FRIENDS. FOOD IS PURCHASED FROM SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK AT NOMINAL COST. LOCAL FOOD STORES AND SCHOOLS CONTRIBUTE FROM THEIR ANNUAL FOOD DRIVES ALSO. OTHER FOOD AND PERISHABLES ARE PURCHASED FROM LOCAL STORES AND MERCHANTS.
