IN FY2022 HAVEN MONTESSORI ENROLLED APPROX 160 STUDENTS BETWEEN AGE 4 MONTHS THROUGH 6TH GRADE. AS A RESULT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE SCHOOL CONTINUED TO SEE REDUCED ENROLLMENT, HOWEVER SIGNS OF RECOVERY COULD BE SEEN. THE SCHOOL OPERATES ONE CLASS FOR CHILDREN AGED 4-12 MONTHS; 2 CLASSES FOR CHILDREN 12 MONTHS TO 3 YEARS; 2 CLASSROOMS FOR CHILDREN AGED 3-6 (INCLUDING THE CHARTER KINDERGARTEN), 2 CHARTER LOWER ELEMENTARY CLASSROOMS FOR CHILDREN 1ST-3RD GRADE AND 1 CHARTER UPPER ELEMENTARY CLASSROOM FOR CHILDREN AGED 4-6TH GRADE. PRESCHOOL STUDENTS PAID PRIVATE TUITION. K-6TH GRADE OPERATED UNDER A CONTRACT WITH THE ARIZONA STATE BOARD FOR CHARTER SCHOOLS. THE CONTRACT WAS RENEWED FOR 20 YEARS AFTER A SITE VISIT AND RENEWAL PROCESS DURING FY2022. HAVEN MONTESSORI WAS AGAIN GRADED AS AN A SCHOOL BY THE AZ DEPT OF EDUCATION AND RECEIVED RESULTS-BASED BONUS FUNDING FOR BEING IN THE TOP 10% HIGHEST SCORES IN ARIZONA. HAVEN EMPLOYED 20-25 EMPLOYEES IN FY22. THE SCHOOL HISTORICALLY HAS COLLABORATED WITH NORTHERN ARIZONA UNIVERSITY, FLAGSTAFF FAMILY FOOD CENTER AND FOOD BANK, FLAGSTAFF UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, OTHER LOCAL CHARTER SCHOOLS, THE PLAZA VIEJA NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION, FLAGSTAFF SHELTER SERVICES AND MORE. THIS PAST YEAR OUR CLOSEST COLLABORATIONS WERE WITH THE COCONINO COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH, AZ DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES, THE AZ CHARTER BOARDS ASSOCIATION AND OTHER LOCAL SCHOOL LEADERS.
