CONCORD CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC'S MISSION IS TO FOSTER A SENSE OF COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING ACCESSIBLE HIGH-QUALITY MUSIC EDUCATION AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, BACKGROUNDS, AND SKILL LEVELS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PROVIDED PRIVATE LESSONS AND GROUP CLASSES TO OVER 650 STUDENTS. THE NEEDS OF UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES WERE MET THROUGH FREE OR LOW COST GROUP CLASSES DESIGNED FOR ADULTS WITH PARKINSON'S, CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES, AND CHILDREN ATTENDING THE ASSABET VALLEY BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TOTALING 9,151 WAS PROVIDED TO STUDENTS WITH A DEMONSTRATED NEED, SO THEY TOO COULD EXPERIENCE THE BENEFITS OF A MUSIC EDUCATION.ADDITIONAL MUSIC EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES WERE PROVIDED TO STUDENTS INCLUDING MUSIC THEORY, WORKSHOPS, AND MASTERS CLASSES. PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES WERE PROVIDED TO THE LARGER COMMUNITY INCLUDING RECITALS, LOW COST WORKSHOPS, COMMUNITY JAMS, LECTURES AND CONCERTS.
