CHELSEA OPERA PRESENTED NINE LIVE MUSICAL PROGRAMS INCLUDING ONE THAT WAS LIVE-STREAMED. THE MEDIUM (GIAN CARLO MENOTTI) WAS GIVEN 2 PERFORMANCES WITH CHAMBER ORCHESTRA IN SYRACUSE NY IN OCTOBER 2021. APPROX 110 ATTENDED. A NEW OPERA BY TOM CIPULLO, THE PARTING, HAD TWO PERFORMANCES IN SYRACUSE NY IN MAY 2020, ATTENDED BY APPROX 75 PEOPLE. THIS PRODUCTION WAS A NYS PREMIERE. JAZZ NATIVITY WAS PRESENTED IN UTICA NY IN DECEMBER 2021, ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 250 (FREE WILL DONATION). A CONCERT WAS PRESENTED IN NYC (SONGS OF SUMMERS PAST) IN NOVEMBER 2021 TO BOTH A LIVE AND LIVE-STREAM AUDIENCE TOTALING APPROX 55 PEOPLE. IN ALL CASES, THE GREATEST CHALLENGE WAS TO MAINTAIN COVID-19 PROTOCOLS BY KEEPING AUDIENCE MEMBERS MASKED AND SOCIALLY DISTANCED IN EACH VENUE, AND MAKING SURE PERFORMERS WERE COVID-19 FREE. IN SOME CASES, PERFORMANCES WERE OUT-OF-DOORS, WHICH MADE SOCIAL DISTANCING MUCH EASIER.
