JOINING HANDS HEALTH CENTER BRINGS TOGETHER COMMUNITY, VOLUNTEERS, AND DONORS TO PROVIDE COMPASSIONATE HEALTH SERVICES TO UNINSURED, LOW-INCOME ADULTS. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL VOLUNTEER MEDICAL AND DENTAL PROVIDERS, WE PROVIDED 601 APPOINTMENTS TO 223 UNIQUE PATIENTS, INCLUDING 211 MEDICAL VISITS, 303 DENTAL APPOINTMENTS, 88 COUNSELING VISITS, AND 637 LAB TESTS. THE COVID PANDEMIC CONTINUED TO HAVE A CONSIDERABLE NEGATIVE IMPACT ON OUR ABILITY TO PROVIDE SERVICES DURING THIS PERIOD REQUIRING LONGER WAIT TIMES AND PROTOCOLS FOR CLEANING. RESERVE FUNDS ARE BEING HELD PENDING A FULL-TIME DENTIST, REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST, AND REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT.
