THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION IS FUNDING EXCEPTIONAL PROGRAMS THAT ENHANCE THE END OF LIFE JOURNEY FOR PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGHOUT SAN DIEGO.TYPICAL PAYORS OF HOSPICE SERVICES PAY HOSPICE BENEFITS THAT INCLUDE A CORE GROUP OF MEDICAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL CARE SERVICES. HOWEVER, THOSE PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE FOR THE CREATIVE AND THEREPUTIC INTERVENTIONS THAT THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES AND HAVE A PROFOUND IMPACT ON THE LIVES OF PATIENTS AND THEIR LOVED ONES.THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDES CARE & SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE UNABLE TO PAY FOR END-OF-LIFE HOSPICE CARE.
