(1) TO TEACH THE SPORT OF FAST-PITCH SOFTBALL TO YOUTH GIRLS,(2) TO COMBAT JUVENILE DELINQUENCY THROUGH SPORTS ACTIVITY AND (3) FOSTER NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SPORTS COMPETITION.

ORGANIZED AND SPONSORED TWO AMATEUR GIRLS SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS. PARTICIPANTS EXCEEDED 2,500 GIRLS OF AGES BETWEEN 10-18. ALSO RUN SUMMER SOFTBALL LEAGUE WITH AROUND 750 PARTICIPANTS.


MANAGED 7 SOFTBALL FIELDS FOR LUCAS COUNTY RECREATION CENTER INCLUDING THE OPERATION OF CONCESSIONS. THIS ACTIVITY ALLOWS SGS TO ENSURE THAT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR HOLDING PRACTICE, GAMES AND TOURAMENTS.


ORGANIZED AND SPONSORED MORE THAN 10 SUMMER AMATEUR GIRLS SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT TEAMS. THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS EXCEEDED 120 GIRLS OF AGES 10-18.
