THE MISSION OF STEP BY STEP FOUNDATION IS TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF UNDER- SERVED CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN AREAS INCLUDING EDUCATION, YOUTH AND FAMILY ENRICHMENT, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, DISASTER RECOVERY, AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR ORGANIZATIONS HELPING ABUSED AND NEGLECTED HORSES AND DOGS IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES.

RIDERS GIVE: ENGAGED YOUNG RIDERS TO GIVE BACK BY RIDING FOR THE STEP BY STEP TEAM. RIDERS DONATE A PERCENTAGE OF WINNINGS TO THE FOUNDATION. RIDERS ARE ALSO AMBASSADORS AND PROVIDE MEDIA INTERVIEWS TO RAISE AWARENESS. THE TEAM HAS OVER 20 RIDERS AND IS GROWING.
BACK TO SCHOOL PROGRAM: PROVIDED BACKPACKS OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN IN LOCAL PALM BEACH COUNTY AND ELSEWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES. BACKPACKS INCLUDE PENS, PENCILS, RULERS, NOTE PADS, SHARPENERS, COLORING PENCILS, PEN CASES, SCHOOL UNIFORMS, AND OTHER SUPPLIES. BENEFICIARIES INCLUDED TEAM OF LIFE, HORSES-N-HEROES, PLACE OF HOPE, KRISTI HOUSE, "TIPA TIPA" SCHOOL IN HAITI, YWCA & YWCA OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, CHILDREN'S HOME SOCIETY, BIG BROTHERS & BIG SISTERS OF WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA, NORTH CAROLINA CARING FOR CHILDREN FOSTER HOME, BLACK MOUNTAIN HOME FOR CHILDREN YOUTH AND FAMILIES, A CHILD'S HEAVEN AND LIFTING LIVES NORTH CAROLINA.

ABUSED AND ABANDONED HORSES & DOGS: PROVIDED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF FEED, HORSE SUPPLIES, AND TOYS OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS TO NON PROFITS HELPING ABUSED AND ABANDONED HORSES AND DOGS. ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDED HORSES-N- HEROES, DOGS OF EVERGLADES FLORIDA, AND ANGELS DOG RESCUE. PROVIDE DESCRIPTION OF HOW MONEY WOULD BE SPENT. . THE MONEY WILL BE SPENT ON EXPANDING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES IN LOCAL PALM BEACH COUNTY COMMUNITIES, WITH A FOCUS ON THOSE IN AND AROUND THE WELLINGTON EQUESTRIAN COMMUNITY.
