ADVOCATE FOR OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL ACCESS THROUGHOUT SAN DIEGO COUNTY. FOSTER RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND EDUCATE TRAIL USERS IN SAFE AND APPROPRIATE MOUNTAIN BIKING USE. PROVIDE EXPERT ASSISTANCE IN SUSTAINABLE TRAIL DESIGN, BUILDING, AND MAINTENANCE. WORK WITH OTHER TRAIL USER GROUPS, LAND MANAGERS, AND POLICY MAKERS TO DEVELOP FAIR AND RESPONSIBLE POLICIES GOVERNING THE USE OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE LANDS.

TRAIL MAINTENANCE WORK: 28 MILES OF TRAIL MAINTAINED; 6 BRIDGES BUILT; 1 BOARDWALK BUILT; 32 VOLUNTEER EVENTS RECORDING OVER 3500 HOURS; BIKE PARK MAINTENANCETRAIL ADVOCACY: REGULAR CONTACT WITH OVER 20 AGENCIES AND JURISDICTIONS - FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL - TO PROMOTE TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS, TRAIL PLANNING, AND RESPONSIBLE TRAIL USAGE; REGULAR CONTACT WITH OTHER NON-PROFIT PARTNERS ON LIKE MINDED EFFORTS.COMMUNITY AND YOUTH EVENTS: TWO MAJOR COMMUNITY EVENTS; 75 GUIDED MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDES; 15 SMALLER EVENTS WITH PARTNERS AND AGENCIES TO PROMOTE RESPONSIBLE TRAIL USE AND MOUNTAIN BIKING SKILLS.
