THE MILK BANK SAFELY SCREENS, COLLECTS, PASTEURIZES AND DISTRIBUTES DONOR HUMAN MILK TO PREMATURE INFANTS AND OTHERS. DURING 2021, 299,416 OUNCES WERE DISTRIBUTED TO LOW BIRTHWEIGHT, PREMATURE INFANTS IN HOSPITAL NICUS AND OVER 94,000 OUNCES WERE DISTRIBUTED TO INFANTS AND CHILDREN. THE MILK BANK ALSO COLLABORATES TO SUPPORT AND EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY IN ORDER TO PROMOTE THE AWARENESS AND ACCEPTANCE OF BREASTFEEDING AND DONOR MILK.
