SUPPORT OF MEMORIAL CHRISTIAN HOSPITAL IN SOUTHERN SUDAN: VOLUNTEER CARE OF THE PATIENTS, MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS AND EQUIPMENT, SATELLITE SERVICES, AND OTHER VOLUNTEER SUPPORT. APPROXIMATELY 20,500 PATIENTS WERE TREATED AT THE HOSPITAL AND THREE CLINICS THIS FISCAL YEAR. ADDITIONAL SUPPORT IS GIVEN IN THE AREAS OF AGRICULTURE, SANITATION, BUILDING SKILLS AND BIBLICAL TRAINING. OVER THE PAST 17 YEARS, APPROXIMATELY VOLUNTEERS HAVE MADE OVER 250 VISITS TO SUDAN SINCE THE PROJECT BEGAN. THE PANDEMIC HAD AN IMPACT ON OUR FUNDRAISING IN 2021 AND 2022. WE HAVE SEEN A DECLINE IN MONTHLY REVENUES OR MONTHLY GIFTING. PCC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TRAVELED TO SOUTH SUDAN TWO TIMES IN 2022.
